Sold my Mk3 VR6 and got a VRS

Hi all

Just part ex'd my L reg vr6 (great car but old) and got a 52 plate Black octavia VRS.Its got climate and rear parking sensors (for the wife :P ).Im so glad i went for the VRS as it puts a smile on my face when you see the bmw drivers glance over to see whats just past um .

O hello to all by the way and i look forward to being a member of what looks like a great board.

Hi everyone, I’ve got a 2021 Superb S EL. Fantastic car, very comfortable. I’m thinking of ordering a new Superb Sportline. Has anyone driven both these trims and can tell me how to compare for comfort ? I recently tried an Octavia Sportline and it was too firm for me. Every bump was felt in contrast to my Superb. I’m hoping the Superb Sportline will be ok with the DCC in comfort mode but it does have large wheels. I realise I should really get another S EL but the Sportline looks nicer in

Hello, I currently drive 2021 Superb 3 Sportline 2.0 TSI 206 kW (DNFE) which is equipped with DQ381 DSG. Car is still under warranty. Car currently has covered 120k KM. Gearbox oil was changed at 117 k KM as dealer suggested it might cure the vibration (it didn't), all other service is done in accordance with Skoda maintenance schedule at 117 k. I recently bought a used 2024 (built 2023) diesel Octavia Vrs. Although my phone - Motorola G9play - shows on the Skoda website as compatible with the infotainment system, I have been unable to link the phone after multiple attempts. Has anyone had this as an issue and found a solution?

I have a 2010 Fabia 1.2 and the ODB port isn't playing ball. Tried 2 different scanners and they both fail to auth with the ECU. I initially thought it might be a bad fuse so I replaced num 22, didnt change a thing. Slipped the port out of the dash and made sure that the wires are fully seated in the connector, no change. I've tried with electrics on and also engine on, doesn't make a difference. Does anybody have any suggestions on what to look for next?
