Hi All,

Thought I'd introduce myself!

I've been lucky enough to own an incredibly reliable 05 plate Mk1 Fabia vRS for the last 7 years and as a result not needed any technical advice from the forum. But the time has come for a change...My new Mk3 Octavia vRS tdi arrives next week, Hurrah Only waited 4 months for it :wonder: Spec as follows: 5dr Hatch, Metal grey, Black Pack, Privacy glass, Anthracite alloys....

As a result the faithful Fabia will be up for sale....Details to follow...

Hi all, recently bought a 2016 Fabia 1.2tsi with 1 key and it's the push button start, had 2 mobile locksmiths out and both have the same problem, they can cut and programme the keys so it locks and unlocks and will start the car but the new key they cut will only start the car if held right up to the button and then you get the dreaded "key not found" warning and noise,the original key works fine so I can't see that it's a car fault and I can put up with holding the spare key up to the switch a

I bought a sportline flat bottom steering wheel but it was the heated version with the view button. I knew the airbag would have a bit of a gap but I didn’t like how it looked or felt overall. So I now have that for sale if anyone is interested. I am on the hunt for a round leather steering wheel. Version with phone button not view button, but with the DSG paddles. If anyone can point me in the direction of the correct part number or even if you have one for sale please let me know!

Hi! Octavia vRS TDI 2015 - For a while I've been experiencing constant DPF regens - the idle tick over constantly sits at 1K with the radiator fans running for a while after the ignition is turned off. I drive motorway miles daily so it's not a symptom of short trips although on longer 2 trip ~2hrs the Particle Filter warning will appear but clears after ignition reset. I've noticed the regens are having a massive impact on fuel economy (only managing ~350 miles on a full tank when previously
