Color Coding Vrs Calipers

Featured Replies

So it looks like I need to replace a rear caliper and have 2 questions:

Does anywhere sell them already painted in Vrs Green?

If not, anyone know where I can source Vrs green caliper paint?

Thanks!

Ok, so Euro seem to.  Oops :P

TPS or Skoda will sell them in the right colour, for painting wise you'll need Hammerite smooth green which is NLA, so good luck in finding some.

Or gb automotive off eBay may be able to help.

Yes you can buy green vRS calipers, but they are more expensive than silver ones. As rear callipers are all the same for Fabias, your best bet buy silver ones and a can/tin of green paint (pantone 348) and paint them yourself. You may also have enough paint left to do the other 3 too.

Recently I've had a rear calliper replaced due to it seizing, however it is silver, possibly unpainted. I am planning in the next few months to paint it green, and possibly the fronts as they are looking a bit shabby. A few months ago I saw this stuff which I'm very temped to buy: http://www.paragonpaints.co.uk/Pantone-348C.html

It was mentioned in this thread. http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/301514-green-brake-caliper-paint-pantone-348/

Nice one Jim, ~£50 difference on painted & unpainted calipers, so well worth a try.

Looking at that myself. Don't know whether to go gloss, semi gloss or matte though! Originals are matte right?
