My Fabia vrs mk1

Featured Replies

Hi everyone just thought I'd introduce you to my fabia vrs I bought the car as a standard pd130 with 32,000 miles on the clock, a few weeks later I changed the standard exhaust for a decat and decat back milltek exhaust system :-) i had it on the road for about 3 months before the turbo failed in spectacular style even though I always gave it time to warm up and cool down etc (guess you never really know how previous owners treat there car) I've heard mixed opinions on decats damaging turbos? So maybe it was my fault :-( oops! Anyway this gave me chance to fit a brand new pd150 garret unit :-) along with a KnN pannel filter before going to a local tuner for egr blanked off and a remap, this resulted in a RR print out pf 199bhp and a smidge short of 360lbft (its very fun to drive now) although I havent gave it a good blast as im trying to be nice to the standard clutch and flywheel and was also advised to go steady until I have uprated the intercooler, I have a set of HIDs coming next week thanks to a brisky member called Sharpyy and a 312mm brake setup from another member called Devonutopia :-) cheers lads - ill try and add some pictures later (im a newbie and still getting the hang of things) thanks for looking and watch this space :-)
