I have noticed, Even after the lever is positioned in Reverse - it takes a while to engage ( It jerks for a while before engaging )

Also, the time between gear change takes longer, 2nd to 3rd takes a while & there is an increase in engine noise.

Try gearbox oil change in next service. I had about same, a little notchy gear change, after oil change it is much smoother.

More than likely the engine gearbox mount but i'd recommend doing the gearbox oil (DSG specific) also!
