Engine management light on and in limp home mode - oh it's fine we can just clear that code!!!

Drivers seat damaged (collapsed?)

Seats in the back, leather badly scored and damaged armrests

It's been painted from the c pillar back & badly - tape marks, overspray on the windows, lights and back box.

When I asked why & when it had been painted - we didnt paint it - came the answer - I then asked if they had a clear HPi certificate for it they clammed up & then locked the car and ignored us until we left.

With a poir repair like that it makes you wonder if its a cat d or c

I'd walk away and forget about the dealer ever again with that attitude to flogging suspect cars.

Name and shame the dealership?

Come on, I'm waiting

Website makes no mention of HPI checking, which is usually paraded on any dealership that actually does it...

I might make some enquiries just to satisfy my own morbid curiosity...... ;)

Just do a search for the garage. Sit back with a cup of coffee and enjoy some of the worst reviews for a dealers I've EVER read

Someone has linked to this thread on the dealers facebook page, I have a feeling this thread will be deleted soon.

Report to trading stds, they may do nothing but they may be already investiating them.

Its a shame it probably will. The truth hurts, eh? lol

Why would this thread be deleted? There is nothing posted here that isn't already freely available elsewhere on the internet.

Companies get very funny with stuff like this.

People on the uks top audio forum got threatened with legal action over telling the truth about one company, it almost cost the forums existance

Companies sometimes try threatening legal action as a bullying tactic to silence people, but provided that nothing untrue has been said about them there is very little they can actually do. They can send nasty solicitors letters but that's about it.

The o/s/r door doesn't look like it's lined up properly, looks like it's out quite a bit.

Does any of this matter? Nobody is going to pay out that sort of money for a car that's been resprayed really badly surely? However the dealer may not be aware of any history of the car, probably bought it at an auction.

yes they will and its conversations like this which help those unsuspecting buyers

people still buy silly cheap cars to find they are stolen or have a strange weld mark down the middle of the car

Bit of topic but my dad is mates with the guy that owns the company of that truck in the background.
