car stereo permanent live no power

Featured Replies

Alright. I dont often listen to the cars radio channels but when I do ... seriously, though the preset stations are no longer being stored in the stereos memory. The iginition live is connected to the power input, and permanent live is connected to the memory input of the stereo. The car has been running rough/lumpy while idling and has cut out the odd time, maybe related? A bad ground, or an alternator problem?

Check fuse box on top of battery. See if it's melted anywhere at all.

Checked the fuse box on top of the battery earlier, looks A1.
