Lowering

Featured Replies

Hey i know this is probably covered but i can't find it anyways

I have 225 45 18 tyres and just wondering how low can i go on my coils before i start to rub? if anyone has pics of there car lowered with similar size tyres be great thanks

I have 225 40 18 on factory alloys. My coilys were all the way to the bottom ( with helpers in ). No rubbing problems even on full lock.

Had to raise it two threads because arb was starting to rub on driveshaft.

cheers. i was rubbing on the backs. there seems to be a bit of metal just where the bumper joins the body. it sticks out and was hitting my tire so need to get arches rolled before i go lower i think

its possible to trim that piece off and give yourself a little more clearance.

..allegedly.
