I need to fit some control equipment that needs a cable about a pencil in diameter , I need to get this from the cabin to the engine bay, before I start rummaging around has anyone done something like this ? Ta

_{On my 1212 estate there is a large bundle of cables that go through under the battery..}

 

_{I removed the battery, then the foam cover under the passenger footwell & pushed a hook through (about 4inch long) then simply pulled the bcable back.}

 

_{There is  a large fuse box next to the battery & there are spare 5/6mm stud that you can fit a ring terminal onto.}

 

_{Quite easy (once I got the battery off & found the loom.}
