115bhp, easy to take mustangs with that... If the mustang is parked up.

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away....

One of our regulars by the name of Mil who lived in the Middle East (Dubai I believe) insisted that his 2.0 litre Fabia beat a shiny new Mustang in a race, and not just beat him but "took him like a king"....

Nobody was convinced, though he was actually a real nice chap and a very talented musician.

yeah but everybody forgets the clincher, it was the falkens that sealed it, on the corners

Guess which tyres I run ??

I tried to find the original thread, but my search-mojo seems to have deserted me. Is it still there or did it get binned?

Think it's still hidden.

I'm trying too lol

Got it refered to but the links don't work since the software swap

Drive past everyday. Still TVR's parked outside as there is a service and bodyshop place. Also the TVR cafe which is brilliant for fans.

You ever go 'round it?

Most enjoyable day out it was.

Yeah had family that worked there. Went in on the day it closed. Watched the last one come off the line complete, even helped lift the unfinished bodies of the lifts. And got a litre of chameleon paint to spray my scooter with. (And a bike, and anything else I was allowed to paint with it. Surprisingly good finish even for a non painter imo. Up until last year there was still bits and pieces in the yard at the back. (As seen in top gear) some of it is now in the cafe. Actually going to go for breakfast in the morning now talking about it. Last time there was a speed12 sat outside on a trailer. :)

It's not worth the hassle Ree, you'll never get a "sorry I mis interpreted the thread" or "sorry I should have worded that better", just leave him to crack on.

Good words Matty lad my good man.

Have a man hug on me.:D

.

Just 'gets my goat, and can't stand just rolling over; to have my tummy tickled' and say nowt so to speak.

I started this thread in all innocence trying to create a bit of a laugh and banter following on from the other two TVR threads, and that is all, no more, and no less.

Anyway, strange cars these TVR's. Really don't know if I like them or not, but they are part of our heritage I suppose.

Anyone know just how many other manufacturers parts bins where raided to produce them btw?
