front brakes problem

hello chaps , iv dont the discs and pads as the discs where very warped , iv now got great brakes but a rubbish peddle , its sinks if you hold it on like the master cylinder has gone but its go no worse , could i have got air in there but doing the pads ? i cant see how , also if i have to slam them on they judder . i guess its to do with the abs but i dont think iv ever felt it before on any other car . 

 

any ideas ? cheers d

Did you press the brake pedal to the floor after changing the pads? If so, the pedal should resume normal position in a week or two. I've had the same and feared the worst but it came back to normal.

i dont know if i pressed it to the floor , i changed them then had to pump them a couple of times to get a peddle buts its just not a very nice peddle , still not had chance to bleed them , still no worse or no better , il have to wait and see i suppose . cheers d
