Has anyone lowered there fabia mk2?

Featured Replies

Hi. Had my Monte Carlo for a few weeks now and I love it but can't help but notice the arch gap looks very spacious. I was thinking of maybe lowering it which would set it off a treat. Had anyone lowered there fabia?if so set up have you got and can you post pics please?whats the ride like when it's lowered?any problems?

Use search button here...plenty of pics and peeps recommendations, options...simples.

H+R 40mm drop springs. Cost about £100 ish. Then fitting unless you can do it yourself.

Tried to find pics of the eibachs but nothing came up.Does anyone have these fitted?if so could you post some pics please?considering getting the H&R springs but is 40mm too low?

Check out my signature. My car isn't a monte but it has been lowered by 35mm all around. This might give you idea how 40mm will look like.

this is the vRS estate on eibachs...

Thanks :-)

I'm still undecided. I want to sell soon, so having trouble justifying extra cost but since nothing is catching my eye or isn't quite in budget yet I'll end up with the vRS a little longer. I have a mate who can fit them in a few hours as it's easy enough to do. £180 from the dealer aren't they?

This is mine on H+R 40mm lowering springs and in my opinion i could go lower still.

Recently got some cheap coil-overs on mine :)

Great if you just want the stance, also improved handling by miles!!!!

Only thing is where they are so cheap the ride is hard...really hard...

Haven't measured it yet but I think it is around 80-90mm lower.

Sorry OT.

That is the best executed Bonnet Wrap i have seen. I like.

It works good with your colour scheme IMO.

Why thank you! ;)

Did it myself, dirt cheap and not bad for a first timer :P

£9 a meter...and pretty good quality stuff, has held up pretty well.
