Load-net

Featured Replies

In case anyone is considering optioning one of these excellent additions for a new Yeti, here's a couple of photos of mine - as fitted for our holiday to the Scottish Highlands last week.

It clips into the slots in the roof & straps to the lashing points in the boot floor. Can be fitted behind either the front or rear seats. The cut out is so that you can pull through the middle-seat seatbelt.

I am not sure if you get the roof slots unless you order this as a factory option (or if they are hidden by the roof lining so need to be cut out to retro fit).

Nice clear photos and a useful post as sometimes it isn't clear what some of the extras/options are unless you can see them "in situ". Thanks for posting.

I wonder if this could be 'Stickied' or whatever?  I can't remember seeing any real user info on it before - particularly the pics.

Looks really useful. Dare I ask how much?

£120 option when ordering a new Yeti.

Not sure how much to retro-purchase the parts (or even if you can!).

I did wonder exactly what kind of net you got for £120, so thanks for pics.

They need to put those photos in the brochure!

It's a very sturdy & well engineered product that folds in half and is supplied with a storage bag - fits neatly into one of the polystyrene pockets under the false floor.

Now you can see why I asked you to post these 137699! Thanks for doing so.

I've never ever seen one even on the European Yeti websites even though this option has been shown in the Yeti manual from day one in 2009. SUK have just been to obtuse to offer it to us since if it had been offered when I had ordered mine I'd have definitely ticked this box.

I wonder if a retro-fit will be easy...  hmmm....

Worth seeing if you can peer behind the roof lining and see if the mounting points exist behind there...?

Hi 137699 regarding the net -how sturdy is it ? Will it hold back items in the boot if they're stacked up ? Thinking of it as an option as I'm going to order a spare and will therefore lose a bit of space so have to stack vertically.

Pretty darn sturdy - we had a large heavy & full suitcase stored upright against it for the 600 mile journey each way. And there was no way it was coming through into the cabin - even with the rear seats down.

It looks similar to one I had had in my Astra estate and it was pretty sturdy. The only movement will be if you don't hook it in properly at the bottom to the hooks there or subsequently not tighten it enough. You can see the straps and connections in the manual:

That's great...I've ordered one and the spare wheel.

Dealer hadn't even heard of the partition net so thanks for the posting .

It's pathetic eh? All they do is sell cars. With a little brochure each with a list of options. They can't even be bothered to read it and see what is in it so they can recommend the correct things to customers...........  sigh. It's like going to a pub where you get one of those useless bar people that do not keep tally of who arrived in which order and to then serve them in that order. I mean all he or she does is pour drinks so at the very least they can take pride in what they do and remember in which order people arrive... Ok back off my soapbox.
