Annoying Rattle/Squeak from Air Vent

My Mk ii Octavia has developped a squeak from the LH facia air vent. I need to secure it or dampen it but

cant see how to loosen it. Is just a force fit? Grateful for any info.

I have the exact same problem, just decided to start squeeking over the last week. Any input from anyone?

Hey guys, Sadly it's looking like my Octavia days which have been pretty brilliant could be at an end, unless I can find a replacement engine. Looking like a blown head gasket/cracked/warped head so it's not driveable now and boiling away (95C+ even without the thermostat in). It's also had a burning engine oil issue for years. It's a 110 ASV engine. So my options are: Say goodbye to my brilliant Octavia ☹️ Try and find a replacement engine, throw it in and hope. Downsides are obviously the

I ran SVM TOWAB with Odis S yesterday and it went through and updated, coded and adapted a bunch of modules. But when I tried to pull a trailer today it didn't recognize it, parking sensors beeping and emergency braking in reverse. What could it be?

A few weeks ago I noticed a blow coming from exhaust so a quick trip down to my local centre, it needs a new mid and rear sections 1z0253609ah and 1k0253209eg but they cant source either part, turns out both are heavily lacking aftermarket support and zero stock of oem in the UK. I even had a exhaust parts specialist on the case and nothing. So the last 2 weeks I've delved deep into info about fitment. The ccza and bga 2.0 tfsi petrol vrs octavia does share the same exhaust from the cat back. Yo

Hi all, Hoping someone can help me. I’m looking to get my software updated, been to Škoda today and they told me that to update from 0278 to 0330 would take approximately so obviously 2hrs labour charge. I found another topic relating to Updating software on a Škoda superb but the link to mibsolutions doesn’t seem to be working. Does anyone have the update files they can share with me or know anywhere safe to get them from please.
