Fabia Mk1 Heater Flap (V68) and Recirculation Flap (V154) Motors

Featured Replies

I recently bought the heater flap and recirculation flap motor mattvrsestate when he was breaking his 04 VRS.

Despite having the same part numbers however, they don't bloody fit on mine (03 TDI) as they have a different connector (straight as opposed to circular). This is the second lot I've bought and had this problem! Right pain in the arse.

Untested but sold to me as working from mattvrsestate. See the pictures below to check your connection is the same!

Make me an offer for the pair or individually, or a swap if you have the other type of connectors! The last image is the circular connector from my car.

Part numbers:

Heater Flap (V68) - 6Q0 907 511

Recirculation (V154) - 6Q2 819 379 B

Any opinions?

  • 1 month later...

Are these still available? I'm pretty sure I need part number 6Q0 907 511 with no suffix (A,B,C,D..) .

Yes still available.

Having taken my car apart yesterday, it turns out I need a circular connector a well. My servo looks completely different as well! Same part number. Sorry about that! Any suggestions on where I could get a servo cheap, or am I going to have to fork out £130 at the dealers?

I've been trying to source one for 2 years and not succeeded - having said that I've not tried terribly hard... Mine is just an annoying fault that I'm not willing to fork out £130 for so it will stay that way until a Fabia of the same age as mine is being broken by somebody... You can try breakers yards if you have any near you!

Mines a Polo 2003 - not a Fabia, but they are pretty much the same car. I'm looking to sell it but I can't sell with the heating permanently hot! Been trying to find one for the past couple of days, bought one off eBay but it had a square plug, been to a breakers yard, took it out only to find it had a square plug and was a different shape entirely. I have found one in Australia waiting for him to get back to me!

Its very annoying as there are loads on eBay for about £10 but with slightly different cogs and fixings, but the motor is pretty much identical. Tempted to buy one and try and put the innards into my case. Probably a waste of time though.

Tried that previously - doesn't work! I imagine, if you have the electrical knowledge, you could create a new connector. The pins are numbered on both the circular and rectangular connectors so I'm sure they could be bodged...

I've ordered one form a german site, we'll have to see, paid £78 brand new genuine revised part inc postage... Hopefully it arrives!

I'm 90% sure thats the correct bit, if you look at the third tab it shows the correct VAG part numbers, and I learnt from a VW parts department that 132-801-207 (I think) was the old version, 132-801-182 is the revised version which is less likely to fail.

I will keep you posted

Unfortunately I got an email saying they couldn't order one as they are no longer manufactured (in german, thank god for google translate!).. I have found this since:

However I struck lucky on eBay right after receiving the email and managed to order this. Including the bracket which is useful.

Its the old version but I'm looking to sell the car so it only needs to last for a month or so!

Good job! Mine works intermittently, I think if it was stuck completely I would be more proactive as you have been! Maybe I will save the search on eBay and wait for another to come up! Thanks, Alex!
