Skoda accessories from China

Featured Replies

I was having a search on the internet and came across Aliexpress. There are such a lot of accessories for Skodas in China! They have some fabulous steering wheel leather covers and trims that looks like OEM items, and also all kinds of trims and accessories. I know the cars in China are of slightly different spec than the ones here, but it looks there are lots of things that will fit here. They are not particularly cheap and i have no idea what the delivery times would be like. Plus i am not taking any commission!

These are some of the examples I come across

This one will fit the new version of Fabias:

I especially love this steering cover, but sadly it does not fit my Fabia Monte Carlo ( I don't have any steering controls )

the stainless steel door sills look tidy :)

I wouldn't trust any of those accessories to last no more than a year. Of course they are dirt cheap so no harm but expect iffy quality.

As for the steering wheels, go wrap it at a specialist. Much better than a cover that will eventually slide around.
Only thing that I would be interested in would be the plastic mats but shame they don't use the actual Fabia logo.

tbh they look to be from the same maker, the ford ones were created using original ford parts with part numbers and logos inside of the knob. im not doubting the quality of these one bit :)

but, im in skoda in two days so may ask at the parts desk for them to order me the knobs from the citigo as they have a nice alloy look to them! :) the ones in the fabia are crap!

I would be very interested in them as well. I have problems prising the knobs off from the Fabia, do you need special tools for that?

China make more cars now than america so I won't doubt their quality these days.

the way i done it with my ford (WITHOUT damaging the original knobs) turn the knob to the left, get a pair of pliers and a pretty thick cloth, then pull it straight, these are pressed in pretty hard! crude but its the only way..

Buy them and find out.

The steering wheel covers are actual tailored ones requiring self-stitching. So they won't move about but not exactly simple to apply either. Seen these on eBay too for a similar price. There's a YouTube video showing how you stitch them...

thanks, good to get a review, thanks :)

Has anyone bought anything from these, I quite like the look of the aircon controls, they'd match the Amundsen better.

Works out at $10 including shipping so not a lot to folk out if they turn out to be crap!

Arent the citigo ones smaller? I may be wrong (:
