Model Chinese FL Yeti

Featured Replies

So why didn't they do one for the original I wonder?

Close on £100 (Import duty/VAT/handling charge) by the time you get it....if you do get it.

Tell me about it, I just got a Red Bull Racing Australia Fleece from OZ and by the time I finished paying for it cost £30 more.

Always ask the vendor to put a low value on the customs docket, break point in UK of about £36 if more need to pay, same a la frog but French value is 50€ - just bought a load of radio control equip from Hong kong , cost 300€++ paid nothing this side - it does work!

Not the wisest thing to do though...... Publicly admit to tax evasion!

Ok so every yeti driver will be stopped by Customs, more likely here a la frog, road blocks every week, checking vehicles en route roscoff etc - looking for illegals though!

Conversely everything coming in is supposedly scanned, so, electronics, one would have thought, would warrant further scrutiny!

Spotted also that the DRL's in the model look like 3  LED strips on the outer edge of the headlight unit, where as the european Real one is a single strip along the bottom of the headlight unit.

Not sure i like the spare on the outside of the door, it makes it look like off roaders of the 80's - 90's

I thought there was a limit to P&P on e - bay to stop people making huge money from it to boost any small profit from the item.

Suzuki stopped putting the spare wheel on the Grand Vitara in 2010 in favour of gunk and compressor. I think it was also to compete with Range Rovers styling i.e. the flat back door. After an outcry it was re-introduced on 2013/14 models.
