Carbon Kevlar clutch

Featured Replies

Thinking of gettin one of these Carbon Kevlar coated clutch kits, anyone got one fitted or know anything about them?

What I know on them you could fit on a stamp!

"CLUTCH DRIVEN PLATE RELINED WITH CARBON KEVLAR FRICTION MATERIAL"

Dont do it. Search button is your friend ;)

All I can say is avoid techniclutch like the plague, google is your friend.

Over the past 4 year or so I have read mixed reviews on techniclutch and different types of clutch and flywheels...

I don't want a crappy single mass flywheel.

I don't plan on going over 220bhp.

I will be getting a Sachs dual mass flywheel.

My only choice is clutch to go with it, I was and possibly still might use techniclutch, his 44,000 items sold looks positive!

And like most forums, people jump on the band wagon slating off a company or part they know nothing about and have never delt with personally.

You don't require more than a standard clutch

Good choice :)

Seems to be what I'm going to go for!

I just don't want the noise at low revs and idle that's all.

Will probly end up with a full Sachs setup then!

iv delt with techniclutch personally (see my build thread). I knew of the bad reviews before i bought from them + like you i thought id risk it.

the clutch lasted sub 1000miles. They were ok on the phone but iv not heard of anyone getting there money back + lots + lots of people getting nothing back so iv kept the clutch instead of wasting more money posting it to them.
