In the attached photo at the centre theres what appears to be a line.. I noticed this this morning and can't for the life of me figure it out.. anyone got the same thing on their rear bumpers? Its just to the right corner of the number plate really bugging me now I've noticed it

Looks like you have been bumped in the rear or reversed into something?

That's what I thought at first but it looks to natural.. like it's ment to be there its not wonky in any way

I would stuck your head underneath and have a look for any other damage, check in the spare wheel well etc

 

the bumper covers are very flexible and hide a lot of things

I'll have a look, just nipped to the local dealer for an enquiry and had a sneak peak at some citigos and mine appears to be the odd one out

So I've stuck my head into the rear bumper and nothing, its the same feel on both sides, I'll get the garage to have a nosy and some point, along with the rusty thing that holds the exhaust up

When you stuck your head up the Citigo's back did you notice any screw/bolts in the same place as the marks e.g. bumper pushed in and made contact with the bolts?

I'd say that was some form of collision damage. Bossfox had quite a shunt from the rear in his and there wasnt much visible as its so flexible.

Yes but the thing is is it's sticking outwards.. a rear end knock surely would push it inward?

It would flex in until it came in contact with something solid behind it, at which point it could kink out like that. Is there anything behind that could press out that shape?

Not that I can see, the metal bar is in the way a tad bit, I had a feel around the other day and it felt the same on both sides of the bumper (feeling the left&right side of the inside of the bumper)

So together with the garage we've worked out its rear end damage likely caused by a tow hook
