Actual idle speed?

Featured Replies

Does anyone know the actual VCD idle speed figure? Also, any super users able to help navigate me to how to change this via VDC programme?

Thanks in advanced

Ps mines idles at 900rpm, with a Vibratecnics gb mount, this is less than ideal lol!

Engine, Log in using code 12233, adaption, channel 2.  32768 is the default number which equates to 900 rpm.  32748 = 860 rpm.

My PD105 idles at around 830rpm. I have found this the sweet spot. Not too high that it's reving away and not too low that the engine is juddering.

I think 900rpm is within spec.

Do it when it's warm too.

Is the PD130 the same where the idle speed changes sometimes? When cold mine ticks over at 1000rpm then eventually drops to 830. Sometimes it also idles at closer to 900rpm.

According to vcds I'm pretty sure mine idles at 903rpm

Must check mine, it idles on the gauge a haire below 1000rpm.

It's done that for the last three years, so I dunno :)
