I'm looking for some roof bars for my vRS as I want to be able to attach a upright bike carrier for trips away.

Are there any others that fit the mk1 vRS? I'm thinking maybe polo or mk2 bars perhaps? Or are the fixing points different on these?

Was thinking the same today. I would like rails that run parallel with the length of the car.

Not sure why you would want bars off another car, skoda ones will fit and are just the same price......

I just thought as other parts are interchangeable between fabia, polo & Ibiza, that the roof bars might be interchangeable too.

If they are it opens my search up somewhat. As instead of just searching eBay for fabia only, I'd have the option to broaden that to include Ibiza and polo too. Potentially giving me more of a seletction.

I am already watching those Matt but they are in Sheffield which is quite a way from me in Manchester.

Any answer to this guys?

You can fit any Thule bar http has the same clamping feature. You just have to work out the distance you set them on the cross bar that's all as it won't be in the instructions
