Hey guys what is the standard exhaust diameter of the standard VRS system?

Reason im asking is because im cheap, im looking at a turbo back exhaust and there is no way in hell im paying £1180 for some pipe!

 

Im going to be getting a company to hopefully chop my original cat out and replace it with a 200cell sports cat, as well as removing my centre box,

 

No way am I paying nearly £1200 for an extra inch diameter when I can probably get this work done and the cat for about £350….

 

Willing to listen to any suggestions on the matter also

 

also interested in intercoolers, not willing to pay £500 for the forge item. what's the deal with universal small fmics?

i was also thinking about the mk2 focus rs intercooler as these can be picked up for a fiver on ebay//

Had one made myself for £350, does the job.

stock was 2.25"

I installed a 2.5" catback, straight through with a proper backbox, believe its a powerflow.

The stock exhaust OD - 55.25mm with 1mm wall thickness, this from the cat to the back box
