Armrest swap

Recommended Posts

In his infinite wisdom the previous owner of my Fabia 2 decided to add the arm rest as an optional extra which I hate but I've lived with it for the last 18 months because I couldn't work out how to remove it.  Anyway due to an impending MOT and the need to adjust the hand brake cable, I managed to remove it today and have decided not to replace it but this leaves me with a gaping hole where the arm rest used to be.  Not sure if the hole is usually covered with a bit of trim or form an additional cubby hole.

So, knowing some people like these arm rests and even pay good money for them, I have decided to offer mine free of charge to anyone that wants it in return for the missing bit of trim / cubby hole I need (you will need to remove it to fit the arm rest).  The arm rest is black and in good condition other than a couple of minor marks.

I hope this offer doesn't violate forum policy.

Why do people want these arm rests?! It makes it almost impossible to change gear when it's down (manual box of course!)

If you don't need yours or have one please let me know...I'd love one...
