Traction and lower pressure Tyre lights

Featured Replies

Hi after couple of mins after a fast ride around a round about  my traction and Tyre pressure light came on any ideas??

Iv heard about having to replace the abs unit at a very expensive price i hope its not that though.

Abs sensor or inductor ring in the hub. Sensor is cheap, ring may mean new hub.

So fault is angle sensor failure, got the tracking sorted checked my Tyre pressure and the light went out, i had to fit a new track rod arm so the tracking was miles out the traction light flicked  on and off a few times then came on with the Tyre pressure light again so i got the tracking redone check the pressure but the lights are staying on this time ill get it plugged in again :wall:

Sounds like hub gone ring on the back rottens away and fault is picked up as ring is incomplete.

Mine was doing this - low tyre pressure light on, pump them up, move of the drive way - light come on again, then the traction control light came on - faulty ABS control unit. Purchased a new one of ebay genuine VAG part £165.00 from a Seat dealer in Livingstone, Skoda wanted £354 - fitted by an independent no further problems
