I recently posted that had a big spark/flash having touched alternator with a wrench when removing oil filter. It blew the fusible link on top of the battery but was not obvious when checking visually.

Fabia1 has a 'dog bone' type of fusible link which is easy to spot when blown.

Fabia2 has the expensive 'multi' fusible links as on attached photo costing £16! The blown link is hidden under the green plastic cover only diagnosed with a meter.
