Just a quick question, what do you guys recomend for lows. Ive managed to get some coils for cheap from a friend. Im just not sure weather to put them on. Whats the long term implications of coils and what do they damage? Also the same questions for springs?

Im in kind of the same situation on my fabia Mk2, i've already  fitted H+R 40mm lowering springs which are great but i would love to go lower and i think the next step would be coilovers but when it comes to coilies most people say to spend as much as you can because cheap ones will just cause you hassle. it will be interesting to see what people say on this issue.

id love to go all the way down but i think its abit dangerous, i like my sump and front bumper haha! So im looking to lower the car to just fill the arches and still clear speed bumps but i want the handling and stiffness of coils

i was going to get lowering springs but my pal used to have a VRS and kept the coils off it so i baught them off him... couldnt go wrong for £30

If ur wanting to get rid of the wheel gap then fit the coilovers.

springs wont get rid of the gap enough to notice.

Question is, what's too low, I suppose it's when something that is not supposed to, hits the ground..LOL

Hahaaaa... too low is when ya get stuck half way over speed bumps!

So whats the damage that coils can do then? im gunna order some shorter drop links before i put them in but do i need to do anymore prep for coils to avoid damage?
