Getting some custom pipes made up for a SS cooler and was just wondering if you need the turbo clip coupler thing or can you just bang a bit of silicone hose onto it? And what diameter is the outlet coming off the turbo? (PD150) cheers

You will need an adapter to allow fitment of a normal pipe

They're not that expensive either. Call them and ask to speak to Kris who comes on this forum now and again as there's 2 of them there.

He will sort one out for you. All you need is the seal from your original turbo pipe to put on the coupler

are all the couplers the same shape dan just different sizes? The one I've got going into the top of me standard intercooler when I did the hard top boost pipe is that size so I might get away with using that hopefully !

Wouldn't wanna say for gertain incase I;m wrong but I think it's the 51 - 50mm for the turbo side and 60 - 51mm for the intercooler side

My intercooler one is 50-51, I bought the 60-51 but it was too big. So I think the intercooler one I've got will go into the turbo so I won't have to buy another, I'm gunna check over the weekend anyways

Mine were both the same shape, the turbo one has a slightly longer piece for you to clamp down onto though

Best to try it really just incase, once under tray is off it's quite easy and there's loads of room.

A. How much the Forge one comes to inc VAT and delivery?

Ring forge they might knock some money off for you if your a forum member

I don't like them because they sell poor quality and when questioned he turned nasty so turned into a hilarious slanging match.

Has anyone noticed the standard coupler is reduced down in the middle? I was just going to put oversized silicone pipe over the top of the female end off the turbo but noticed the standard coupling was reduced so just ordered a smaller pipe and gunna salvage the old coupling and go to that in case its reduced for a reason i.e. Back pressure or stop to much boost going in the intercooler anyone know why it's reduced?

 Ph1lly87 I think its because turbulence is created not sure . Now im looking for the coupler to fit rubber hose on the turbo. The coupler from darkside cost almost as much as pipe kit for my intercooler! Would that fit for standard turbo?
