No display signal after new cpu and motherboard install

On board graphics working and the Graphic card is'nt'?  Usually a setting in the BIOS now.  What sort of connection are you using VGA, DVI or HDMI?  Have you tried the On board graphics card?   

One thing to check before wiring up your replacement board is that the MOBO supports the power draw of the cpu.

 

It is no good having a 2KW PSU to power a 140watt cpu if the mobo is only rated at 125watts.

 

Different chips in the same family and supposedly with the same/similar performance can have wildly different power requirements.
