Rear doors have to be manually locked?

Featured Replies

Hey, I have a skoda octavia 1999 1.8 20v estate.

When locking the car with the key in the drivers door, the front two doors lock with the central locking, but the back passenger doors have to be locked manually. I have replaced both the looms in those doors as the wires was broken before, but those back doors still don't lock with the central locking.

Any idea what I can check next? If it helps, the boot doesn't lock at all.

i had a problem roughly the same, were the front passengers door didn't lock with the rest, nothing was faulty just the ccm didn't lock it, disconnected the battery and zip tied the 2 battery terminals together for 15 minutes, stuck the terminals back on and that was that sorted.
