If '34F7' has not been done and should have been it is free.

I would not have it done if the car drives perfectly now, i would leave well alone, and stay away from Skoda Dealerships / Technicians & Fitters.

But

An early CTHE did not require '34F7' according to Skoda / VW, and did not require '34H5' the software update.  That is on 2013-2015 DQ200's.

So unless they have changed their mind it will not get done free.

You need to see if the car has a Service & Maintenance History.   Some owner could have had the DQ200 sorted out if ever faulty.

The Engine or DSG could be remapped or upgraded.

Keep away from Skoda Dealers IMO.  No good can come of them touching the car. Use experts not their  technicians unless you or friends can trust them because they know them.
