Raised floor mat: what does it do? (Part no. DAA620003)

Featured Replies

Essentially as the topic suggests. :) :)

You mean the raised boot floor?.....It essentially makes the boot 4-5 inches less deep, but has a clever fold up lid that allows you to store stuff under the false floor. It also gives you a totally flat load area with the seats down that is completely level with the boot lip. So it makes loading and removal of very heavy objects from the boot easier.

Nope, already have the floor and sides (DAA620001 and DAA620002), it's what the mat brings to the party I'm after. ;)

Hmmm......I'd be curious to know myself. I Googled the part number and came up with a carpet/mat that looks like it would fit the raised boot floor.....complete with hook to hang it up when you are accessing underneath. I suppose it's a fancy carpeted boot protector.

I think I have this, it goes under the false floor to cover the spare wheel and act as the bottom to the storage space below the folding bit.

How is it different to the original mat?

I dont know that it is apart from perhaps being narrower to fit between the side guides???

Is that what yours does then? You can lift the mat to get to the spare wheel without interfering with the wings?

Yes exactly

Cool. Thanks. Will stick that on my list of things to get next ;)

Did you retrofit the raised boot then? Ill pop up a picture for you later.

Here you go. You can see the side rails still in place and the lower floor raised by the hook.
