Rear wheel camber after lowering 4x4?

Featured Replies

Installation of KW3 on the Combi 4x4 gives a lot of negative camber after lowering.

The car looks gorgeous but given the lack of camber adjustment of the rear wheels it is quite a problem both in terms of tyre wear and car handling.

Now, I read that for lowering the car you'd better buy the adjustable links from Forge for 250GBP. However given that this is quite an expensive solution, has anyone tried anything else? Are there alternatives?

I was toying with the idea of exchanging the position of the upper and lower links. I'd presume the camber when the car is static would be better than what it is now, but have no idea how it'd behave in body roll conditions (i.e handle).

Any ideas, experience?

Thanks in advance.

A cheaper option is eccentric bushes, I think these are available from ECS Tuning.

Dont forget your 10 % BRISKODA discount , also beware of cheap immitations there is TUV approval for theses tie bars

Hmm there is a kit for 4x4? I haven't been able to locate one before. Can you quote place of purchase and price for your KW3 set? BTW, does this stand for K&W Variante 3?

Yes, that's the one. Price around 1600 Euro here in Greece. I'll get the codes and details when I can this weekend.
