Yeti Brochure

Featured Replies

Is there a newer brochure out than the April 2014 release?

Vehicles being built now are I believe called a 2015 model year. I was wondering what the subtle differences will be.

Colin

I don't think they print a new brochure each month :giggle:

no but the last one is January and because there are changes there might be an April one.

If you download the brochure and scrol down to the last page in the right hand corner you will see the issue date. There was a new one in April and a new one in May. I believe any car built from week 22 onwards that it will be a 2015 model. Not much has changed, you now have tyre pressure monitor as standard across the range. A sports steering wheel which has a flat bottom.

I might beg to differ on the sports wheel, its an option and it would be nice to see it in the brochure. Also the prices have gone up so that is why a new brochure should be in the showrooms.

The price of the Elegance has gone up £110.....but it includes TPM. TPM option when I ordered mine was £100.

Yes you are right the steering wheel is an option, and the price will always be on the up!!

Thanks for that. I can see the tyre pressure monitor but as above not the flat bottomed wheel. The brochure is still a bit misleading as the SE is shown with the S spec upholstery. Only a small point, but the SE swirly trim on the "normal" Yeti does not look all that nice.I would have thought it fairly easy to correct on-line brochures, although a different matter for the printed/hard copy.

Colin.

No problems. In the options bit it's called a 3 spoke supersport steering wheel. My dealer asked if I wanted it as I hope mine is a week 22 build.

If you want to see the supersport steering wheel there is a picture of it in the model configurator. I also agree with you about all the literature if you look at the configurator the columbus comes with colour maxi dot.

My order is build week 23, so, if we did not order these bits do we just get them anyway.

£150 for a wheel that is so similar...no I will be putting this towards that additional 2 years warranty.

I can't find the coloured maxidot.

There now appears to be some confusion on wheels. We have ordered an Elegance Outdoor with Annupurna wheels. The May catalogue, page 20, states the Elegance comes with Annupurna with additional features Origami ??? If it means as an option, Page 30 does not mention the Origami. I am a little lost here.

I wondered why, over the last 2 weeks, I have been unable to add Annapurna wheels in the configurator.

I feel I'm so far behind now so how many times a year do I have to 'trade-up' in order to say I have the latest model?

It's getting more n more ridiculous every year IMO.

There was talk of minor changes to the FL which, if minor and not affecting looks too much, is acceptable. The dash trim and TPM for instance.

A change in wheel design is a major change, you are given a choice from one brochure and that should be what you receive.

This said there are topics/posts here and there where peps have test driven the pre F/L, ordered the car and received an FL. I find that hard to understand that they were not informed.

So they got the latest model for the same money?

Yes but not really relevant. You might have preferred the old style.

How do you know they weren't informed? I test drove the old model - because the new one hadn't been released and therefore it was impossible to drive it.

But I was very clearly informed that I would be receiving the new model.

The supersport wheel looks the biz - what a shame they passed up the opportunity to offer it with paddleshift,....

I wouldn't be complaining but then out here the old model was massively discounted.

The poster in question said he was surprised to receive the FL model. Obviously he was not informed.

I can only see its got a small flat at the bottom. £150 for a flat.

As I understand if you did not order tyre pressure monitor you will get it from week 22 onwards. My dealer also said you should get the original wheels that you ordered, if not he should have been in contact with the customer about the changes. If you look at the configurator at the end in options you will see columbus sat nav with colour maxi dot.

That is now my grey area...I have ordered TPM and will pay for it. The dealer said my order went in pre price rise. So I get it for nothing but the vehicle has gone up in price. 6 of one half dozen tother I suppose. I suppose I could cancel it in the hope I get it.

That is the million pound question. I think the dealer will say that when you ordered your price is locked in. As I understand your Yeti will be locked in a few weeks before build so no changes can be made. I think Skoda may well kick you to the back of the queue if you start to make changes so close to build. I was told how true I don't know, that mine was locked in at week 17 for a build week of 22. You could always speak to your supplying dealer.

You will find countless posts on here that show (a) how the Yeti brochures have always been inaccurate, to put it politely, or a work of fiction, to put it bluntly; (B) how little many dealers know about the product they are selling; and © - which may explain (B) in part, but does not excuse dozy dealers who patronise customers - how poor communication is between Skoda CZ, Skoda UK and the dealership network.

The best advice comes from those on this site!

I spoke to my dealer yesterday who said they are in the dark with what happens during week 22 other than saying it is a changeover week but it all depends on which day of that week the vehicle is assembled. I can somewhat understand their dilemma. After all in the company I work the guys in one office dont know what the guys in the next office do. Which is somewhat odd because its all one open office obviously in the same country.

My only concern is having the choice of wheels and then not getting a choice. The dealer has methods of changing them if it arrives with those I don't want.

This is the first time we have ordered a new specific vehicle other than taking one from stock.
