engine bay to cockpit.....easy route?

Featured Replies

As title says I need to route pipe for boost gauge from engine bay to dash. Is there an easy route before I stricter car?

cheers

I got it in by lifting the scuttle panel and there was a little boot that I got it pushed through and sealed again. This came out above the pedals and then i brought up the side of the dash to the pillar. It ain't easy!

Is this the right pipe coming off top of dump valve? Seems a little too thick for the T junction I got

I'm assuming you're installing a boost gauge?

Remove the wiper arms and the scuttle panel. Route the pipe under there, and through the grommet on the O/S, where the wiring loom goes into the car. Make sure you keep it away from the wiper mechanism. This will come out above the fuse box above your pedals. You can then run the pipe up to the top of the dash/A pillar.

Don't T into the diverter valve, you want to T into the fuel pressure regulator pipe.

Thanks for the advice. All fitted now. Found an easier route from behind pollen filter to behind glove box. I ended up teeing into that pipe pictured above and it's working spot on.....for now. Again thanks for the reply though appreciated!

i was just gonna say the easier route but you took it. Actually there is also route same side just under the brake union and corner of lower inner wing. There is a grommet there. I fed mine through and to back of glove box. Removed glove box to then route pipe to other side to dash window pillar where gauge is mounted

can see roughly where i routed mine
