Hi all well after trolling through all the posts on here regarding the iPhone connection I bought this

VW Bluetooth BT Premium FSE rSAP SMS A2DP WLAN 3C8035730D  from eBay and it works just like it says on the tin. Just a few quick questions though on the box there are three connections but I only have two connectors the one at the front of the box has a small cover on it which slides up to allow for a connector to plug in any ideas what this is for? Secondly on the display screen there are 2 small lines as in picture what are these for any help would be greatly received.

I don't know anything about iPhones but I know that if I connect my Galaxy Note 3 with handsfree mode (rather than Rsap) in place of the top line on your maxidot I get a battery indicator. The bottom line shows an icon if I have connected the media player (A2DP I think)

I don't know what the other connector is for.

Is the empty connector purple??

not sure it is the front one of the three I don't have a cable for it but everything works as I want it was only curious

My guess is that it is for the antenna for rSap connectivity which isnt used by the iPhone. iPhones use the lesser functioning HFP connectivity (but its still good).

If I'm wrong, you will have an antenna stuck to your windscreen.
