I bought this car as it offered everything I was looking for in a car, comfort, reliability, driveable power, economy (these engines seem to run on just air lol, have seen high 60mpg on motorway runs), and the VAG build quality.

Key Things:

Mileage -  approaching 73k, so spot on for a 7 year old car, this will not go up as I cycle to work now

3rd owner from new

Tax Until July 2014

MOT Until April 2015, No Advisories

Car comes with an excellent standard spec, including:

Race Blue Paint, cleans up really really well

1.9tdi PD130 BLT engine matched up to a 6 speed gearbox

Tinted Rear Windows

Air Con (ice cold)

In addition to this I’ve made some choice modifications to help improve the cars performance:

Motech Performance Stage 1 Remap – 175bhp 280lb/ft, transforms the car, very smooth map and pulls really well from 2k all the way to the redline. Still achieving 60mph on the motorway (70mph in 6th).

AP Coilovers – height adjustable but recommend as THE coilover to have for the Fabia VRS (outside of KW and Weitec, the top mounts were replaced at the same time. Car has a firm but very forgiving ride, rides very similarly to an M-sport BMW, hard to explain but it’s much better than the wallowy beginning. It’s comfier than my Girlfriends Mini Cooper S

Some Other additions:

Team Heko Wind Deflectors

Carbon Wrapped Front Grill and Number Plate Surround, Carbon Wrapped Headunit surround and Ashtray

Pioneer Head Unit – with Aux In, USB in. I also have the standard head unit with the radio code if you’d prefer. 6 CD changer not used at the moment.

Front Tyres – 205/45/16 Bridgestone Turanza – plenty of life left in them - 5mm plus

Rear Tyres 205/50/16 Uniroyal Rainsports – plenty of life in them too – 5mm

The reason the tyres differ is that I got a puncture on the rear passenger side, and out of desperation bought these. Excellent tyres all round.

Some Kerbing on the wheels, not horrendous, but not A1 (pictures following):

Full Skoda Service History until my ownership, where it’s been looked after by Autobarn VAG specialists in Basingstoke.

Its had console bushes done at 60k, Cam belt at 44k (with water pump) and regular servicing using Quantum PD oil, and GSF filters.

I Mention this now, THERE IS FINANCE ON THE CAR, I PLAN TO CLEAR THIS ONCE PAYMENT IS SUCCESSFUL, IVE SOLD A COUPLE OF CARS IN THIS WAY AND HAD NO BOTHER.

Reason for sale is that I would like to move out this year, having a car on finance saps up money I could use on rent / mortgage. I love the car, but need something not on finance.

Car is located in Camberley, Surrey (GU15)

Will not be sold with current plate (Birthday present, original plate is VN07VJL, I will remove this next week.

If you’re after a lovely little VAG hatch that’s practical, economical, dare I say moderately rare in SE form, only 1000 made, and some will be written off etc, quick (now mapped it surprises a lot of people) and cheap to run and maintain – 417 miles to a tank last week, parts are VAG so can come off polo 9n3 or ibiza 6L.

I think that’s everything, any questions just ask.

I’m after offers around £6200, this may seem steep to some, there are SEs out there hitting nearly £7k, so I feel this is reasonable. Try me with an offer, there is a minimum I need to get, so I’m open to negotiation.

Thanks for reading,

Chris

Looks nice.

CWizzle hi,

at least you are starting off with a sensible price

the £7000 + cars are not selling

yours is tempting me especially with the subtle mods

Cracking car. Great advert too. I would be tempted if I hadn't just got one myself..

Could you tell me the amount of HPI is owed on the car? And who the company is please?

Pm if you prefer?

Slightly OT (sorry), but where did you get the ap coilovers from?

Do you still have the standard springs to go with the sale mate? Also how many services has the car had?

How would we go about paying finance off etc?

Thanks
