auto electric windows

Featured Replies

Hi, I have a 2007 octy elegance and have just got it back from the body shop after some repainting on the driver's side. My electric windows on the front will not come all the way down with one touch , but the back ones do? Dont think the rear ones did before, is it possible something is plugged in wrong? The correct switches move the right windows its just the auto down and up function isnt working. Can I do anything with vcds or is it a full strip down?

I imagine they have had the doors disconnected which has reset the one touch function.

To get it working again you lower the windows and hold the down switch for 10 seconds I think. I'm sure it is covered somewhere in the manual.

Thanks that didn't work, on checking the manual that process seems to be for the force limiter. Tried closing the windows with the key as is detailed in the manual, windows closed ok but the one touch function still only works on the rear

you need to do it up and down hold at top and bottom.
