Suspension bushes

Featured Replies

Hi people, need a bit of advice,my 2002 octavia vrs is suffering from movement in the front suspension bushes and the usual creaking from the anti roll bar so what i would like to know is are powerflex bushes better than the oe ones? because after searching i found that eddy had problems with them but to be fair powerflex did sort the problem out for him.

So if i was to get a set should i get the anti roll bar bushes as well? as i`d read they don`t fit the vrs,is this correct? or am i better off replacing the full ARB with an oe one or uprated one? and if an uprated one is prefered any recomendations as to which one to go for as people seem to either use eibach or oe R32 ones? and if its better to uprate the front ARB will this upset the handling? and if it will should i uprate the rear to match?

sorry for ranting on but i`d like to hear recomendations from octy vrs owners who have done such mods because i don`t want to go wasting my hard earned cash on parts that are not very good or don`t fit

any advice welcome

regards

Dan

Hello mate, I had a knocking coming from my vRS at the front and took to a dealer. They fitted a new ARB and it cost

Just had Powerflex bushes fitted the front ARB on my Octy vRS and yes they do make a difference with the standard front ARB, also had a Neuspeed 28mm rear ARB and Eibach springs all round fitted at the same time.........................Brilliant.
