Thought I'd start a thread about the Isle of Mann TT which starts on Friday (23rd) and lasts until the 6th June. Although I don't ride a bike yet I find it great to watch and some of the speeds they hit are nuts! I'm rooting for Guy Martin this year what about everybody else?

The on board bike footage is absolutely awesome and fingers crossed that it stays dry. ITV4 coverage is usually ok.

Sad news about Simon Andrews (RIP) the other day in the NW200.  There's a video of it on you tube.

Guy Martin and MacPint as usual. Still missing seeing Milky Quayle and yer maun Joey riding though.

Fantastic event. Hoping that the Norton team have a positive impact to resurrect the great name.

Hope Ian Hutchinson makes a return to form after serious injury.

Another one under his belt for Michael Dunlop, was truly awesome on the BMW.

What about the Lap Record that Bruce Anstey set at 132.298 mph!

Mad Sunday yesterday, the Simon Andrews Memorial Lap went round the TT course. It is estimated there was between 1500 and some reports 5000 motorbikes involved in the lap. A fitting Tribute to the lad.Today the Island is covered in Fog so it looks as if there will be no racing today, better forecast for Tuesday.

Footnote to the tribute lap- When the leading bikes got to the Grandstand in Douglas the back end was still on Sulby Straight!!!!!!

Unbelievable, and he made mistakes on the lap and could have possibly gone faster.

Watched the Superbike race on ITV coverage - like others, am rooting for Guy Martin.

 

Disappointed he didn't fair too well in the Supersport race, hopefully he'll pick up a race win elsewhere - Senior presumably?

Just heard Karl "Bomber" Harris has sadly passed away after a bad crash during the supersport race.

Gutted is an understatement, you couldn't have met a nicer lad. Always had time for everyone that wanted to speak to him.

RIP Bomber :-(
