Hi this is chandra here looking soft copy of mk1 skoda octavia repair/workshop manual have trouble with my 1.9 octy. strange noise coming from head it like valve seat fall of rough idling like tractor. i want overhaul engine what sort of tool it need i got timing set up tool.is there any special tools need to recondition engine.

Is it also down on power? I suspect the problem is either fuel timing or hydraulic tappets.
