Chris Berry - bad advice there, ATS will have had any remaining charge out and tried to vac it down - and failed, so who knows what they did next as they should not have recharged a system with a known leak.

Sorry if I didn't make that step a bit clearer, what I meant was to get the air con checked at an approved garage for leaks and if it requires a recharge.

My previous points were to diagnose if the air is faulty without the need and expense of taking it to a garage.
