What BHP and lb of torque are everyone getting on their standard petrol Tsi?

 

Getting mine done on Friday from Brotek who don't have a rolling road.

 

On the Shark site it says 240bhp but i'm sure i've seen someone on here get 262bhp before?

On the TFSi it shows a Stage 2 clocking in at 260, but IIRC there's some hardware changes on a Stage 2.

 

Stage 2 on a TSi shows 225 bhp.

It's the 2.0 not the 1.8.

lI am sure there is a rolling road at Oakley Performance in Fife. They are a REVO dealer. Was considering them for the CR VRS.

current car is unmodified but my old car (2.0 Tsi vRS) made 245bhp stage 1 no other mods.

 

tbh the headline bhp numbers are largely irrelevant its the torque that makes the car feel quick and the area under the graph is more important than the peak.

 

[just looked up the graph from my old car; on shark's own rollers  244bhp calculated at the shaft, 204bhp at the wheels, 419Nm torque.  reference run on stock map showed very close to manufacturer quoted power and torque figures so i have no reason to think those numbers were overstated.  btw when people quote big numbers for a stage 1 map they're probably lying or have a small weiner or both.]
