Brotek Shark remap

Featured Replies

Had my car get it's Shark Performance Stage 1 remap from Mark at Brotek today and the difference is amazing!

You really notice the extra grunt from the torque and sitting at 70 in 6th gear and pressing the accelerator and it pulls like your in 4th. You can also hear the boost noise more clear which sounds great.

I was originally going to go down to Mansfield and get Ben to do the remap as he is highly recommended from the majorty of people on here but i didn't really fancy driving for 10 hours there and back and over 500 miles, so instead it was a 40 mile journey which took around an hour in total and the service from Mark was outstanding. You can see he is a man who takes great pride in what he does as he seems to know everything and managed to answer every question i was throwing at him straight away which is always a great sign.

He also details cars too with his huge arsenal of cleaning products and i will definatly be taking it there later on in the year to prepare it for winter.

This is his Facebook page where you can also see his 350bhp monster S3 https://www.facebook.com/brotektuning

I must say im tempted by brotek as im not far away either.Did you get a stage 1 or 2 and how much did it cost?

Star performance is alot nearer to me

Stage 1 and the difference is just silly. It's £499 but because i'm a Freedom member it was £450.

Is your car petrol or diesel as he hasn't got the equipment at the moment to do the diesel as they need their ECUs removed first.

The main reason i went there was because it was the Shark remap and i have not seen 1 bad review about their maps so it was a win win.

Mines a tfsi with uprated dv, pcv fix,bsh intake,R8 coilpacks, turbo back Milltek and a new Sachs clutch and DMF .

Can't afford a hpfp but hoping for 265-270 bhp and 300lbs.

Jim at starperformance quoted me £300 with before and after dyno runs but I know bens maps have very good reviews .

Where are you based?

I think the TFSI is cheaper than the TSI. He is based in West Linton, his postcode is on his Facebook page so just put it into routeplanner and see how far it is. He doesn't have a dyno though so you would need to go somewhere else for that though unless you want to head further down south.

260-262 is what we usually see from our TFSI Stage 2 with a good intake and good exhaust (our testing was done with Milltek)
