Yeah your right, 150bhp standard (its the same engine as mk3 golf gti 16v) only engine mods are custom exhaust and k&n panel filter. I'm worried my custom exhaust could be losing me power, so interested to see how it does on the rollers. If it is losing me power ill dump it and buy a proper sports exhaust system.

Think it will have to be 7ish? at gordano.

Yeah i used to have a modded 1.8 16v too! Loved it and thats why i decided to go for this one...

Them engines in your car are good. Heard of them making up to 160bhp in standard form. Will be interesting to compare our cars. Mine has a few more mods though and made 170odd last time it was RR'd.

8.30 ish...half hour from gordano to bridgwater lol

I do have temporary use of vag-com yes, whilst my car is still in "flux" - proving to be the most useful thing I've borrowed in some time. Car wouldn't even be running without it, let alone have faults diagnosed, etc

If i get somewhere around 150bhp ill be happy.

Coming up from Reading on the M4, I'm OK for a get together at gordano.

Just to be clear, we're leaving Gordano at 8:30 to arrive at TSR for 9, right?

I have just checked to confirm the meeting times. There is a meeting point at bridgwater services at '8AM' or if you want to go straight to TSR you should be their 8.30ish.

What time shall we meet at Gordano folks?

Its going to be a relaxing little session, very easy-going - nothing regimental - so don't feel pressured to arrive at 8am on the dot at Bridgwater.

TBH, 7:30 at Gordano is a bit early for me, having to treck along the M4 and being invited to a party Friday night...

Will TSR be there for 8, Jason? If so, great, otherwise it seams a bit pointless to meet at Gordano that early if we end up pottering about waiting for TSR to open up. Personally, I'd rather have the extra 30 minutes in bed :P

The deal is TSR will open their doors at 8.30am. 8am at Bridgwater services is just for a pre-event social chinwag, etc. It won't matter if anyone doesn't arrive at TSR until 9am.

Like I said, its going to be a "gently gently" day - relaxed, laid back, and a bit of fun (thats referrig to ripping your car apart, Xav! :P)

i shall be passing gordano at about 0815 aiming for tsr 0900. will already have a very small convoy going on (3 cars)!

if anybody is still there then keep an eye out for us, silver octy rs, silver fabia rs, burgondy mk2 scirocco.

Right - Just as a warning so no-one is too disheartened - The runs at TSR will only give you (from what I hear) a top BHP figure for your car. Obviously for the 1.8T this should more or less match the torque? For the TDIs going I guess you multiply this BHP by 1.4 or 1.5 to get to the torque figure. There's some formula for it anyway.

Just to say that if people wish to show up at 10am+ it won't really matter as we'll be able to get started with the early ones.

Also, we can give Xav his first run early, then do all the work needed, and second run last.
