Hi Guys,

I hope you are well.

Im not the hottest with specs of computers etc, I get by but am definately not someone whos that swithched on with what I need etc.

Im looking for a specific gaming laptop to be able to run....(im gonna get blasted for this!) Eurotruck Simulator 2 and if possible the Microsoft Flight Simulator X packs. Battery life isnt important really as ill always be at a power source, Good sized screen, powerful and handle stuff like this smoothly.

Ive seen the Dell Alien range online and looks good but seems quite pricey...

Can someone in the know please help?

Thanks

Kindest Regards

Chris

Do not go with Alienware. I purchased a Alienware laptop for something like £1100, and within an hour of purchasing I found the exact same spec as mine for £200 cheaper so I rang them up and cancelled my order and got refunded.

My specs are

Intel core i7 2.4Ghz (3.2 with turbo)

8GB of DDR3 Ram

660GTX 2GB

750GB hard drive.

Plays all the latest games perfectly fine and it was somewhere around the £900 mark from overclockers.

Dell will list Alienware laptops in their outlet. Might be worth a look to get one with some money off.

+1 for not using Alienware! They are too expensive for what they really are...

Might get some stick for this but they are like an Apple product, over priced for what they really are  :p

XPS is another Dell range, but alot cheaper. I recommend XPS.
