Right folks, story so far. I've had problems with Windows live e mail accounts. They all run at speed of snail. So first line of inquiry is Rogue killer, which comes up with various bits of Wldap.dll being hooked. Delete, and all is well. So as other lines of defence ,i've run Avast on full scan/ Malwarebites anti root and anti elsewhwre/ Spybot/ Superantispyware and Adwcleaner. Nothing found. Another line in Rogue killer is "EAT @EXPLORER.CO.UK" .

Are you running the latest version of rogue killer?

The [email protected] from Google says you've been infected with malware that is nasty to remove.

What av were you using?

I had a google again of [email protected] and found a mention of Rogue killer version which hammered this, so I took Rogue killer off ,deleted all downloads and downloaded again. For some reason I was being told I had latest version when I tried to down load. Also got rid of malwarebytes and downloaded again.Malwarebytes found and removed some funnies, but Rogue killer found yet more, especially the EAT entries and PUM/PUP. First pass got rid of some problems,.Reboot to find EAT still there, but second pass removed it. I don't know where it came from as I'm not in the habit of many downloads ,as I have only 1GB to play with, and Avast makes a dent in that.
