service indicator

Featured Replies

I know that it almost certain that the garage forgot to re-set it, but......

I have convinced myself that they did re-set it when it was serviced at the beginning of the month, as I sure I would have noticed in before last friday, which was three weeks after the service

After all, I have a recollection of checking that it wasn't coimng on after the car came back from it's service, and it does come up every time you turn the ignition on and off - cant miss that for three weeks surely. Also when you go to 'CAR' on the infotainment menu, it brings up the vehicle status screen, and I'd surely have noticed that as I use the 'car' screen most days

And the mileages dont add up - at 17800 it was saying service due in 900 miles, it was serviced at 18002, and now at 19020 it's saying service due in 900 miles

anybody come across this before ?

What does it say if you look up service when you go CAR> Settings, should tell you when it's due....

Mmmmm back to the dealers .....

Apparently something to do with multiple re-sets required on the variable service routine?

So I'm happy i've not missed a warning thats been flashing at me for weeks, and its sorted now
