A herd of yeti

Featured Replies

Pulled into Tesco in Helston Cornwall yesterday....and there were 8 normal Yetis and two blind ones... I think I've found out where they hide  :D

The Tiguans are in Waitrose and Aldi....... :|

'Scuse me - pedant alert :nerd:

A herd of yeti, maybe, on hooves; a flurry of Yeti  if they're on wheels

Or should that be a "Pride" of Yetis

What's a "blind" Yeti, or are you being disrespectful to the FL Yeti? :giggle:

I think you just destroyed the marketing of the 2014 Yeti, not sure Skoda would like them been coined 'Blind Yetis', but a feeling it might just stick. (on here anyhow).

I mentioned at work I was buying a Yeti...the listener replied great I like the new front, the one with eyes (round fogs) looked like an OAP's car. :notme:

My comment was purely a play on the "Pride" of ownership, not the collective noun - hence the quote marks.

At a distance it was these "eyes" that distinguished it from a Roomster.  Now I can't tell the difference.

I was on holiday in Cornwall last week. When i went into Tescos Helston I only saw three  One of which was the same color as mine. I did see another on the way north on the M5 towing a caravan He turned onto the M4 and I continued on the M5

At a distance it was these "eyes" that distinguished it from a Roomster.  Now I can't tell the difference.

Erm, may be it's not the Yeti that is blind :giggle:

Of course... one's silver and one's blue. Obvious now.

And one looks like a Yeti, the other looks like a Roomster, even more obvious now :D

"At a distance"

I guess everyone is different in how things are viewed / perceived.

In my eyes the Yeti is similar to the Roomster in that it has headlights, a grill and number plate all roughly in the same place, as with most cars.

No doubt the front fog lights on the pre-FL set the Yeti apart from a lot of other cars on the road but I think I'd stuggle to confuse a FL Yeti and a Roomster.

One thing is for sure the FL Yeti is a good looking car from the front. After seeing a few on the road now I like it alot.

They love Yeti's down here, I see more of them than any other Skoda, the rare ones are the Superb. I don't see many but when I do I see 3 other Superb's in one go. We was waiting for a red light and there was 3 of us in a line with a fabia, all in dark colours mixture of Elegance & L&K's...  #CzechMafia!
