2015 Fabia

Featured Replies

awfabia,

Who knows but them,

its looks have been covered on the several other threads on the Fabia Mk2 Replacement,

I have never yet seen Skoda call it a 'Skoda Fabia Mk3',

so i will still think of it as a 'Skoda Maybia' until the Launch in October.

Will it be a

'Fabia Mk2 Face Lift, Face lift druha cast'

Hitting it with a bottle of Champaign when they launch it will do it no harm.

It has a look at present that only a Mother would love.

(A face like a well skelpt arse, (well slapped) as we say in Scotland.)

It will grown on some of us probably when we see the real thing.

Some things don't look quite right; the tailgate, bottom of the bumper and the shut lines at the front of the bonnet and the rear door . It's still disguised.

uurrrgg. looks like an old fiat stilo.

Oh dear that got ugly....

Actually Mk2 vRS owners with lovely & iconic Mean Green cars are entitled to take offence at Skoda putting the 'Disguised Fabia  2015 out

as a Slug like Green Snot Version.

Especially after announcing there are to be no further Fabia vRS.

The corporate rear end folds never looked quite right and with each model released looks worse, on the yeti and superb it looks awkward and ugly, this fabia is downright pants.

The mk2 fabia is a design that has grown on me with time and is streets ahead of this. Looks like next car might be a kia!

still heavily disguised, looks like a bluepeter attempt with sticky backed plastic or gaffer tape holding it together, not to the normal skoda build quaility

Wait for the real thing guys, every time a disguised new Skoda appears it's "the worst car ever made", what happened to innocent until proven guilty?

That is a fair thing,

But they have very recent previous,

like the disaster in some peoples opinion like the Rapid, then the Yeti Face Lift.

So if we cut them some slack, hopefully they will they give us a nice surprise,  acceptable looks and 100% reliability.

They have had enough time trying things out as they tested for the Face Lifted Polos & Fabia Replacement, to be sure the Fabia is perfect when available in 2015

They have been selling over 30,000 Fabias a year in the UK, & its been the best selling Skoda in the UK,

lets hope they have had some Mules driving in the UK on our roads,

just to be sure they have the handling perfect on the Cambers and Surfaces we have over here.

Ooooh dear. I won't be touching one of those if it is real. Don't like the car from any angles if I am being honest.

Hideous. Truly hideous.

It looks evil.

That does look grim... comment about the Fiat Stilo says it all. What a misstep Skoda, if this is legit. Shame, as I'm sure there were some development photos of the next gen Fabia that looked really good!

Also what's with all this "connectivity" bull****?? What more can da kidz possibly want than bluetooth and an ipod dock?

Talk about leaping to judgement!!

It is MUCH more heavily camouflaged than appears at first glance.  Look at the hi-res pics here to see just how much crap has been taped on.

Look at the headlights:

String holding covers over the rear lights, a mock spoiler, reprofiled doors (twice) and rear bumper

Look closely and most of the Stilo rear light clusters are just painted images on the tailgate and not real.

Other manufacturers like to tease before a new model is released, looks like Skoda is more into S & M !

Looking at those hi-res pics, most of it is a cover up to send us in the wrong direction.

Looks like theyre all reading this having a good laugh us, believing the utterly disgusting thing theyve given a general image of.

I believe that the side profile, grille, bumper, wheel arches etc are accurate. They have fiddled with the rest to make it fugly. Why? So that when it's released it looks better than you thought and you'll buy one.

The looks of the mkII have grown on meII. But it's far from a beautiful car. I like my vrs but at the same time I long for more. I don't believe my next car will be a fabia... but we'll have to wait and see what the budget can stretch to. Price has always been on it's side (for what you get).

Hell, for £5k more than my fabia cost I could have bought a 911. Not the same economy to run though.

Right, with those covering things, they are mis-leading us to imagine the look.

Thats what i said? Lol.

Just for comparison, does anyone have any pre-release MKII Fabia disguised pics to see what it looked like so we can tell how heavily disguised that was?

Isn't it obvious from the pics how disguised it is

When you consider how much a set of wheels changes the look of a car, any 'stuck on extras' will radically change it right now, if it looks anything like the white one posted in another thread I'll be happy to buy it
