2015 Fabia

Featured Replies

The new corporate clone look I feel has not been the cleverest of ideas by Skoda and its far too easy to mistake one model for another on the open road unless you’re up real close.

So even though this new model could be OK without the camo, it will not interesting or imaginative enough for us to want to rush out and replace our Skoda classic design school Fabia MC.

TP

Little bit "Angular" and not "Curvy" enough… Don't like the "Dents" where they opened the doors too hard (LOL)...

They have made sharp angles where there were flowing curves, which looked softer and prettier, those creases by the door hinges look like accident damage, rear brake light a bit nicer then usual, despite looking "VW", also, about time they slapped indicators in the mirrors, although these look like parts-bin parts… Give it a proper Fabia mk2 mirrors, with the ADDITION of indicator, not just mirrors from ad different car. (How many mk2 owners will then upgrade their older mirrors)?

Seems funny they want to make it look sharper, without offering the steroid option vrs, I would have thought most punters of the snowmobiles would have preferred the curvier shapes. Perhaps Skoda are gonna concentrate on the fake sporty Monti version. I recon they will then think of adding the vrs if this one sells well, hoping many will buy one now, upgrade in two years if offered the vrs.

As an aside, its funny how my computer keeps overriding my spelling of vrs with VAS… Vas differens springs to mind, suggesting the vrs is driven by pri-vate owners!

From May until the reveal in October is a pretty long time to be letting Tease pictures out.

I certainly hope they are testing the new cars on UK roads before starting taking orders & production.

It will be interesting to see if Skoda have dropped the fitting of Dunlop Tyres,

but i doubt that,

hopefully they just get the Alignments correct for all of the right hand drive cars destined for the UK.

& all Skoda Dealership Technicians familiar with the New Cars.

Not that there seems like there is going to be anything that unfamiliar going into them.

I quite like the look of the Silver one, even with all the disguise prosthetics on the car.

wheels & ride height really can make or break a cars look.

Whats the equivalent Seat ? I did see a good advert the other day on TV with the car fitted with LED lights inside, anybody know which model it was ? cheers - Stuart

The cars are not officially revealed yet, or the estate if there are to be.

Seat Ibiza come in Choices of 5 door, 3 door, but not estates & in Petrol & Diesels.

PS

Ibiza and Leon both have similar fronts and lights,

that is their corporate face.

Looking through the brief articlein Auto Express it appears there will be a Fabia 3 estate this time next year. So I will be kkeping my current Fabia for at least annother year before I make a decision to change if at all?

A little off topic, apologies.

Can you get the ibiza with the LED lights upgrade do we know?

The leon looks really good with them IMO.

Just read the report on A.E., and so 'pleased' to see the anti Skoda fossils are STILL having a pop at the brand.  :dull:

Briskoda gets a mention on  of the posts btw.

Looks ok, and a slight improvement on the mk2, but hardly got me charging down to the dealer to place an early order.

Shame they've totally binned the vRS.

Still think the mk1 looks the best.  :sun:

Yes, most of them probably come from here :p

Think the Fab estate will be here sooner than that.

Hope so! I dont really want to commit to a Fabia 3 hatch before seeing the estate. Well thats if I like it of course!

Production of the estate starts before the end of the year, so it should be here in the first three months of next year I would guess.
